Sarah
Program Director
Sarah brings over 14 years of experience in education as a certified teacher and enrichment specialist. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Education with a specialization in Gifted, Talented, and Creative Education.
She taught 2nd and 3rd grade for nine years before serving as a Gifted and Talented Facilitator for five years, where she developed engaging, differentiated learning experiences that fostered creativity, critical thinking, and academic growth.
In 2024, Sarah combined her passion for education and the arts by opening The Local Spark Art Enrichment Studio, a creative space dedicated to inspiring children through hands-on art, enrichment, and innovative learning opportunities. Through her work, she strives to nurture curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning in every child she and her staff serve.
LeeAnn
Pangburn Lab
Manager & Teacher
LeeAnn brings 4 years of experience in early childhood education and more than 5 years with the Arkansas Department of Health’s WIC division, where she has had the opportunity to work one-on-one with families and participants.
She has a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and, most importantly, experience that magical “aha!” moment when everything finally clicks. LeeAnn loves being part of those little lightbulb moments and watching a child’s confidence grow right before her eyes. To her, there’s nothing better than seeing a child realize, “I can do this!”
When she’s not in the Lab, you’ll likely find LeeAnn spending time with her family, cheering loudly for the Pangburn Tigers, or lending a helping hand to her church family. She believes life is best lived with a little laughter, a lot of heart, and plenty of people to cheer on along the way. And if there’s a chance to make learning fun, encourage a child, or celebrate a win, big or small, you can bet LeeAnn will be right there cheering the loudest!
Robin
Program Coordinator
Lead Lab Teacher - Greenbrier
Robin has over 7 years of experience as a certified general education teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Education for grades K-6. Robin also has completed hours towards her MSE in Gifted, Talented and Creative.
When she is not teaching she is somewhere outside chasing her two wild toddlers or relaxing by taking care of her indoor plant wall!
